Environment & Facilities
We will be walking along the footpaths of the main road between the hall and the park using streetlights and torch light when needed.
Bathroom facilities exist in the park, however may/may not be open at that time. (Please consider using other facilities before attending)
Water features exist within the park.
Purpose & Program Overview
We will be walking as a unit to Robertson Park as part of Their Service, Our Heritage badge. This walk can also contribute to Walkabout Badge.
We will explore and look around at the memorials within the park.
We plan to also invest those Joeys who have been waiting so patiently to be fully uniformed members of our Unit. Parents invited to attend. Especially for the investitures.
Supervision & Attendance
Youth will be supervised by the Joey Leaders and Adult Helpers in attendance (please complete registrations and madatory requirements)
Health, Safety & Hygiene
- Please be mindful of colds or flus and avoid attending if you are unwell.
- Please dress appropriately with warm clothing and fully enclosed shoes for walking.
Behaviour & Participation Expectations

This event will be using the patrol system and buddy system.

Participants are required to stay with the group.

Participants may be asked to leave in the case of non-compliance.
Equipment & Clothing
Joeys please wear your uniform proudly with fully enclosed shoes
Participants must bring:
Day Pack (back pack)
- Water filled bottles
- Head torch/torch
- Jumper/other warm layers
- Small first aid kit (bandaids, saline, gauzes, sting relief gel for mozzies, ant bites etc)
- Packable Raincoat
- Small hand sanitiser
- Note Pad and pencil
Participants must NOT bring:
Responsibility for personal items is the sole responsibilty of the participant and/or their parent/guardian. Under no circumstances will Leaders be responsibile for safe keeping, loss or damage to items.
Cancellation & Refund Policy

Please advise the activity co-ordinator if you are unable to attend on the day, if you are aware of this before the event day, please withdraw from this event by using the withdraw feature.
