At 3rd Orange Scout Group, our Scout Section welcomes young people from their 11th birthday through to their 15th birthday, providing youth with the ideal space to explore new challenges, build confidence, and have fun with friends in a supportive environment.
Scouts play an active role in shaping their own adventures, which can include developing outdoor skills, planning camps, working together on hands-on projects, and gaining leadership skills and confidence. Events such as Australian Jamborees, State Rally, and even local activities and camps are always a highlight within our Scout Unit. Each experience encourages independence, teamwork, and the chance for young people to discover what they’re truly capable of.
As Scouts approach 15, they will begin linking into our Venturer Section, where they will take on even bigger challenges and adventures.
Scouts generally meet at our hall on Thursday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
